I’ve lost count the number of times we’ve stayed here! We enjoy it so much, it’s such a lovely place to stay whether you want to just chill or go and explore, this has it all! The owners are exceptional and really want you to have the best time.. The lodge is lovely and cosy in the winter and has a lovely decking area for those very welcome summer days! There is a dog park which our lab loves to explore and the pub is a lovely place to have a bite to eat and a drink. We really can’t wait to go back again.
We had a most wonderful stay in the Fellwalker Lodge. The lodge was super clean with great facilities. Limefitt site was great for our small dog with lovely walks and the on-site pub/eating facilities were a great asset which we used 3 times during our stay. We will definitely return one day soon xx
Just coming to the end of our latest stay at Fellwalker Lodge. Think this is maybe our 8th time here and we are already booked to come again in August. Pepper our Collie has had a fabulous time walking, swimming and playing at the dog park. We've had a fabulous time as always here. Great accomodation with everything you need and more. Sue is contactable almost immediately if anything is. needed and nothing too much trouble. Our home away from home and we are already looking forward to our August stay. Thanks Sue and Steve. Couldn't have been better unless the rain had kept off but didn't stop us doing what we wanted to do anyway and our soggy Collie loved it. See you soon Fellwalker xxx
Beautiful lodge (home from home) in a lovely setting. Amazing views & so peaceful. Great pub on site with lovely food. Secure dog field for your furbaby. Perfect for a relaxing weekend. Thank you Sue, we will be back.
Fabulous stay once again at my sanctuary, we even had sun all week which never happened before!! The lodge itself was clean, tidy and met all our needs. This would be my 6th visit, absolutely amazing xx
I’m so glad I came across Sue and her log cabins! Yet another lovely stay relaxing in such a lovely location. Will be booking again for sure 😊
Wonderful stay at Fellwalker Lodge, it had everything we needed. A few rainy days kept us in so there was plenty of board games to keep us entertained. Beautiful lodge and surroundings, we will definitely be returning, the guide that is sent when booking is absolutely brilliant, we've never had so much information given to us before a stay.
We loved our stay at Fellwalker Lodge it was a real home from home feel ,warm ,cosy and comfortable and in a quiet location on the site and even though the lakes threw absolutely everything at us (minus the sunshine) during our stay, it was lovely knowing we would be going back to a warm lodge .We've stayed in many of the lodges on limefitt over the years and Fellwalker or Hollybank are ones We'll definately be returning to, so thankyou Sue
We have just come back from our second years stay at Sue’s Fellwalker lodge. Another fantastic holiday! The lodge is comprehensively kitted out, spacious, clean and comfortable. It’s in an ideal location too. Sue is very friendly, informative and helpful and we made good use of her Fellwalker Lodge Guide. Our two cocker spaniels absolutely adored it too, so much so, we’ve already booked to return for another week in 2024.
A very relaxing few days in Fellwalker Lodge. Extremely clean and everything you need is there. Will certainly return. Sue the owner is very helpful nothing is too much trouble for her. Thank.you Sue
Lovely few days in Fellwalker despite the changeable weather for July. Wish we had a bit longer, will be back !
5 star stay yet again! Our lab had hurt her shoulder and was put on strict rest by the vet just before our week in the Lakes so we stayed put on the site and had a really relaxing and lovely week in Fellwalker Lodge. Thanks again Sue & Steve ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We have stayed in Fellwalker Lodge many times and each stay just keeps getting better. It is like a home from home with everything you need for a lovely comfortable stay, the owners are so friendly and go out of their way to make sure your holiday is as good as it can be. The Haybarn on site is great for food and drinks as well as The Queens Head and Mortal Man, we were so lucky with the weather and made the most of dining al fresco, plus they are all very dog friendly too which is very important to us. All in all we had a wonderful week a d can't wait to come back.
Another wonderful stay at Fellwalker Lodge. Touches such as the Christmas decorations made it a really welcoming start to our holiday , and a real home from home experience. The digital guidebook is a great addition with recommendations on local places to visit , eat and local walks for all levels. The Mortal Man is an old traditional pub with roaring fires and a must to visit. We will definitely be back!
We had the most lovely stay at Fellwalker Lodge last weekend, 16th to 19th December. It was late when we arrived and the lovely owner Sue had messaged to make sure we were ok and had everything we needed as it was snowing. We stayed put for the whole weekend which was bliss. I would not hesitate to recommend this lodge and Limefitt Lodge Holidays.
We have just had a wonderful weekend away in Fellwalker lodge, home from home and such a lovely relaxing lodge. We just keep coming back!! Thank you Sue & Steve
We recently had the opportunity for a long needed holiday after three very difficult years. We had to find somewhere where we could take our ageing border terrier as she doesn't handle separation from us very well. On the recommendation of friends we booked Fellwalker, and are very happy that we did. The whole trip was superb. On the second night after our arrival we sat in the lodge eating the biggest chestnuts we have ever seen, drinking red wine and listening to ghost stories on YouTube, set in the local area. Next day I drove us down the road to see one of the settings for these stories called the Kirkstone Pass Inn. If you wanted to repeat our experience, get the chestnuts from Booths in Windemere, visit the Kirkstone Pass Inn around dusk to set the atmosphere, go back to the lodge and have the chestnuts and red wine listening to "The highest inn in England" on YouTube by Tony Walker. Sadly, at time of writing, the Kirkstone Pass Inn is closed but walking around it will set the atmosphere. Will be booking it again in the new year.
This was our first stay in Fellwalker Lodge. We had a really lovely and relaxing time and will most definitely be rebooking ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
My sanctuary
Just stayed at Fellwalker lodge, 15th to 22nd aug. 22. The lodge is lovely and as described, very clean, Sue had thought of everything you would need for a holiday, also a big plus was bedding and towels supplied, would recommend to family and friends, already booked again for next year.
